Description

The industrially hardened RhinoSwitch^TM RSM-1600 will offer up to sixteen Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports (some of which can be PoE or PoE+ ports depending on the power supply selected selected). The RH1600 may alternately be configured with 12 Fast Ethernet and two Gb fiber or copper ports. The RSM-1600 is ideal for harsh or extreme environments.

With an operating temperature of -40°C to 85°C, the RSM-1600 is designed for the most demanding environments such as power utility substations, outdoor traffic control boxes and industrial controls rooms. The RSM-1600 will be available with AC or DC power including 12, 24, -48, 110, 125, and 250VDC, and offers optional dual DC power inputs.

The RSM-1600will offer managed switch software with both GUI and CLI. The RH1600 management software includes RSTP for network fault recovery, IGMP Snooping and GMRP multicast filtering, VLAN (802.1Q) with double tagging and GVRP, event monitoring with email warnings and much more.

Cyber security features include SSH/SSL, Radius-based access management and authentication, TACACS+ based user management, multi-level password access, 802.1X, and SNMPv3.
